PRINCETON, N.J. – Brown, Princeton, Harvard and Columbia opened their weekends with wins on Saturday afternoon, as Brown and Princeton each improved to 3-0 in Ivy League play.
BROWN 64, CORNELL 48
Brown shot 46 percent from the field (26-of-57) in a 64–48 win over Cornell, led by Grace Arnolie, who finished 10-of-20 with seven three-pointers. The Bears set the tone early and built separation with efficient offense and consistent defensive pressure. Brown’s defense held Cornell to single digits in two quarters, disrupting the Big Red’s rhythm throughout the game. The victory extended Brown’s winning streak to five games, improving the Bears to 11-4 overall and keeping them unbeaten in Ivy play (3-0). Cornell (7-9) suffered its first league loss and fell to 2-1 in conference action.
PRINCETON 69, DARTMOUTH 41
The 22nd-ranked Tigers used a balanced attack to secure their ninth consecutive victory with a 69-41 win over Dartmouth. All nine Princeton players scored, led by Ashley Chea, Fadima Tall and Skye Belker with 16, 15 and 14 points, respectively. The Tiger defense held the Big Green to 28 percent shooting (14-of-51) and forced 18 turnovers. Princeton extended its winning streak to 13 games, improving to 15-1 overall and 3-0 in Ivy play, while Dartmouth dropped to 9-7 overall and 0-3 in the league.
HARVARD 53, PENN 42
Harvard bounced back from its first Ivy League loss of the season with a 53-42 victory over Penn at the Palestra. Abigail Wright led the Crimson with a double-double, finishing with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Harvard limited Penn to 27 percent shooting (15-of-55) and held a 41-31 rebounding advantage. The Crimson improved to 9-7 overall and 2-1 in Ivy play, while Penn fell to 10-6 overall and 0-3 in the league.
COLUMBIA 85, YALE 58
Forty-eight second-half points propelled Columbia to an 85-58 win over Yale on Saturday. The Lions held a five-point lead (37-32) at halftime before outscoring the Bulldogs 26-6 in the third quarter. Riley Weiss scored a game-high 22 points, while Nasi Simmons recorded 10 steals—the fourth-highest single-game total in Ivy League history. Columbia improved to 11-5 overall and 2-1 in Ivy play, while Yale dropped to 4-12 overall and 0-3 in conference action.
