PRINCETON, N.J. -- After leading Princeton to its fifth consecutive Ivy League Championship, Lori Dauphiny has been named Ivy League Coach of the Year following the 2022 Ivy League Women’s Rowing Championship at the Cooper River.

Dauphiny has led the Tigers to 11 Ivy League Championships in her 25th year at the helm of the program, while garnering Ivy League Coach of the Year honors for the fifth-straight season.

Princeton claimed the first varsity eight race with a mark of 6:11.703 and the varsity four (6:52.30) to came out on top in a tiebreaker against Brown to receive the Ivy League’s automatic bid to the NCAA Rowing Championships. The Sally P. Shoemaker Trophy, awarded to the top point total for all boats, was split three-ways between Brown, Princeton and Yale. All three programs tallied 74 points throughout the duration of the championship.

The 2022 All-Ivy teams were named at the conclusion of the Championship. Coaches nominated five student-athletes prior to taking the course at Cooper River and teams earn All-Ivy recognition based on their finish in the Varsity Eight.

Additionally, one student-athlete from each institution was recognized for their commitment in the classroom and on the water as members of the 2022 Ivy League Women's Rowing Academic All-Ivy team.
