PRINCETON, N.J. – The Yale coaching staff, led by head coach Will Porter, was named the Ivy League Women’s Rowing Coaching Staff of the Year.
Yale punched its ticket to the NCAA championship, earning the league’s automatic qualifier after the varsity eight placed second and the second varsity eight and the varsity A four earned first at the Ivy League championship in at Cooper River in Pennsauken, Pa. The Bulldogs also captured the Ivy League Team Points Trophy, finishing with 89 points. Yale’s third varsity eight and varsity B four won their grand finals and the varsity C four took second.
The 2025 All-Ivy teams were named at the conclusion of the Championship. Coaches nominated five student-athletes prior to taking the course at the Cooper River and teams earn All-Ivy recognition based on their finish in the Varsity Eight.
Additionally, one Ivy League women's rowing student-athlete from each institution was recognized for their commitment in the classroom and on the water as members of the 2024-25 Ivy League Women's Rowing Academic All-Ivy team. Brown’s
