PRINCETON, N.J. – Ivy League women’s rowing has added another milestone to its storied tradition, earning an NCAA record-tying six bids to the NCAA Women’s Rowing Championship.
Brown, Dartmouth, Harvard, Penn, Princeton, and Yale will all compete at the championship, scheduled for May 30–June 1 at Mercer Lake in West Windsor, N.J.
This marks just the fifth time in NCAA history that a conference has sent six teams to the championship. The most recent occurrence was the Big Ten in 2019.
Yale secured the Ivy League’s automatic qualifier after winning gold in the second varsity eight and varsity four, and silver in the varsity eight at the Ivy League Championship last weekend. Brown, Dartmouth, Harvard, Penn, and Princeton earned five of the 13 available at-large bids.
Last year, all four Ivy participants earned top 10 finishes: Princeton (4th, 112), Brown (6th (99), Yale (8th, 88) and Penn (10th, 77).
