Columbia Unanimously Voted Ivy League Baseball Preseason Favorites

PRINCETON, N.J. – Columbia was unanimously voted the preseason favorite in the 2025 Ivy League Preseason Baseball Poll, which was voted on by school communications contacts and a media member that covers each school.
 
The Lions posted a league record of 17-4 last season to claim its sixth Ivy title in the last 10 season. Columbia returns eight All-Ivy honorees from last season, including five first team selections.

Penn was selected to finish second in the poll with 101 points. The Quakers have won the Ivy League Tournament each of the last two seasons. Cornell, last year’s runner up, was voted third with 88 points. Princeton was selected to finish fourth 80 points.
 
Yale (69 points), Harvard (59), Dartmouth (30) and Brown (21) rounded out the preseason poll.

Opening day for all eight teams is Friday, Feb. 21.
