Cornell Women's Ice Hockey Lands In NCAA Hamilton Regional

PRINCETON, N.J. -- The Cornell women's ice hockey team will make the short trek to Hamilton, N.Y. for NCAA Regionals at the Class of 1965 Arena on Colgate's campus.

Cornell is slated to face off against Stonehill in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament on Thursday, March 14. The winner of that contest will take on regional host Colgate Raiders on Saturday, who earned the third seed in this year's championship.

With the berth into the NCAA Tournament, the Big Red will be making their ninth appearance in program history. In Cornell's previous eight tournament appearances, the squad has made the Frozen Four on four occasions. The last time Cornell earned an NCAA bid was in the 2019-20 season, where they were seeded first.
