PRINCETON, N.J. -- Winning performances at the plate and on the mound by Dartmouth’s Micah Schroder, Harvard’s Katie Duncan and Columbia’s Alexa Pinarski led to this week’s Ivy League softball awards.
 
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Micah Schroder, Dartmouth (Jr., 2B – Houston)

• Schroder batted .538 in four games (7-for-13) while leading Dartmouth to a 3-1 week, including a three-game sweep of Princeton
• She recorded at least one hit in all four games, including a 3-for-3 performance in game two against the Tigers where she scored two runs and knocked in four more
• On the week, Schroder slugged .846 after hitting a double and a home run, and walked twice en route to a .600 on-base percentage
• Schroder, who speaks German, earns her third Player of the Week honor of the season (April 8, April 22)

 
PITCHER OF THE WEEK
Katie Duncan, Harvard (Sr., P – Allendale, N.J.)

• Duncan started all three games for the Crimson in its series against Cornell, going 2-0 with a 2.15 ERA and six strikeouts
• She recorded two complete games against the Big Red, including a five-inning, four-hit shutout in the first game of the series
• Duncan’s second win in the series clinched at least a share of the title for the Crimson, which would go on to win the championship outright
• Duncan takes home her third Pitcher of the Week award of the season (April 1, April 15) and sixth of her career

 
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Alexa Pinarski, Columbia (Fr., P – Dyer, Ind.)

• Pinarski appeared in two games last week, going 1-1 with a 1.20 ERA
• She went the distance in a seven-inning shutout of Brown, limiting the Bears to just three hits in the 5-0 Lions win
• Pinarski finished the regular season with 13 victories, over half of Columbia’s 24 wins on the year
• She receives her third-straight Rookie of the Week honor and fourth weekly award, as she was also Pitcher of the Week on April 29
