PRINCETON, N.J. -- Princeton’s
Sarah Fillier swept the Ivy League women’s ice hockey postseason awards following a vote of the League’s six head coaches.
Cornell’s
Doug Derraugh was unanimously named the Ivy League Coach of the Year and Princeton freshman forward
Sarah Fillier was unanimously selected as the Player and Rookie of the Year.
Fillier is the first student-athlete to claim both Player and Rookie of the Year honors in the same season in Ivy League women’s ice hockey, a feat Cornell’s
Matthew Galajda accomplished on the men’s side in 2017-18.
Fillier accumulated 23 points—via seven goals and 16 assists—in Ivy League play. On the season, the Georgetown, Ontario, native has amassed 54 points via 20 goals and 34 assists. The freshman paces the nation, averaging 2.00 points and 1.26 assists per game.
In his 14th season at the helm of the Big Red program, Derraugh was a unanimous selection for Coach of the Year for the third-straight time. Derraugh led Cornell to a runner-up finish in the Ivy League and an ECAC Hockey regular-season title in 2018-19. The Big Red finished 7-2-1 in Ivy League play and 17-3-2 in ECAC Hockey action.
Ivy League champion Princeton boasts a League-high three First Team All-Ivy selections, including unanimous honoree Fillier, freshman forward

Claire Thompson (Toronto, Ontario, Canada). Junior forward
Carly Bullock (Eden Prairie, Minn.) and senior defender
