Brown, Columbia, Harvard, Penn Earn Wins On First Night of Ivy Back-to-Back

PRINCETON, N.J. – Brown, Columbia, Harvard and Penn picked up Friday night wins on the first night of an Ivy League back-to-back, as the Lions moved into a share of first place following a win over Princeton.  
 
BROWN 58, DARTMOUTH 51
Brown secured a 58-51 win over Dartmouth at the Pizzitola Sports Center. Grace Arnolie led the Bears with 19 points as Brown shot 23-of-65 from the field. Dartmouth was paced by Zeynep Ozel with 13 points. Brown improved to 14-7 overall and 6-3 in Ivy play, while Dartmouth dropped to 9-12 overall and 1-8 in the league.
 
COLUMBIA 70, NO. 24 PRINCETON 56
Columbia earned a 70-56 win over No. 24 Princeton at Levien Gymnasium behind a strong offensive effort from Perri Page, who scored 25 points, while Riley Weiss added 23. The Lions shot 25-of-59 from the field in the victory, moving into a share of first place. Fadima Tall led Princeton with 16 points. Columbia improved to 16-6 overall and 7-2 in Ivy play, while Princeton fell to 19-3 overall and 7-2 in conference action.
 
HARVARD 70, YALE 62
Harvard earned a 70-62 road win over Yale at John J. Lee Amphitheater behind a dominant performance from Karlee White, who poured in a game-high 35 points on 30-of-60 team shooting. Abigail Wright added 12 points for the Crimson, who improved to 14-8 overall and 7-2 in Ivy League play. Yale was led by a standout 32-point effort from Ciniya Moore, as the Bulldogs fell to 5-17 overall and 2-7 in conference action.
 
PENN 72, CORNELL 66
Penn picked up a 72-66 road victory at Cornell behind 23 points from Mataya Gayle. Katie Collins added 16 points as the Quakers shot 28-of-68 from the floor. Rachel Kaus scored a game-high 25 points for Cornell in the loss. Penn improved to 14-8 overall and 4-5 in Ivy League play, while Cornell fell to 8-14 overall and 3-6 in conference action.
