No. 9 Princeton Punches NCAA Tournament Ticket; Will Face No. 8 Oklahoma State

PRINCETON, N.J. – After another stellar season of Ivy League women’s basketball, Princeton heard its name called during the NCAA Women’s Basketball Selection Show, marking the fifth-straight season the Tigers are headed to the NCAA Tournament.

The ninth-seeded Tigers are set to take on eighth-seeded Oklahoma State in Los Angeles on Saturday, March 21.

After capturing the Ivy League Tournament title, Princeton moved to 26-3 on the season. The Tigers also claimed the outright Ivy League championship, finishing conference play with a 12-2 record.

Princeton has been in the Associated Press poll 11 weeks this season and enters the NCAA Tournament ranked No. 23 nationally. Throughout the season, the Tigers recorded six wins against teams from the ACC, Big Ten, and Big East.
