NEW YORK CITY – Penn women’s basketball alumna Jordan Obi was selected in the third round of the 2026 WNBA Draft on April 13. Obi was the No. 44 overall pick.
Her selection continues a strong run for the Ivy League, which has now had at least one player drafted in four consecutive years. The league has produced seven draftees over the last four drafts and eight total selections since 2020.
Obi enjoyed a standout career at Penn, earning All-Ivy honors three times, including first-team recognition as a senior. She averaged 13.8 points per game while adding 7.6 rebounds and 2.0 assists per contest over her career, and is the first Penn women’s basketball player to be selected in the WNBA Draft.
