Yale Selected First in Ivy League Volleyball Preseason Poll

PRINCETON, N.J. – Ahead of the 2025 Ivy League women’s volleyball season, Yale took the top spot in the Ivy League volleyball preseason poll following a media vote.
 
Yale and Princeton took the top two spots after sharing the Ivy League title a year ago, but the Bulldogs were slated first after coming off of their 2024 tournament title with 121 points and nine first-place votes. Princeton accumulated 119 points and the remaining seven first place votes. Brown (88 points) and Cornell (79 points) finished third and fourth, respectively, after punching Ivy League tournament tickets last season.  Penn, Harvard, Dartmouth and Columbia took the final four spots.

The Ivy League volleyball season is slated to begin on Friday, September 5. Following the regular season, the two-day Ivy League volleyball tournament is slated for, November 21-23. The four-team tournament will consist of the top-four teams from the regular season and will be hosted at the site of the No. 1 seed.
