PRINCETON, N.J. — Nine Ivy League student-athletes and three relay teams are set for the 2025 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships this weekend, March 14-15, at the Virginia Beach Sports Center in Virginia Beach, Va.
On the women’s side, four individuals and two relay teams will compete for a national title. For Harvard,
Victoria Bossong,
Sophia Gorriaran,
Izzy Goudros, the 4x400m relay, and the distance medley relay will make the trip to Virginia. For Princeton,
Mena Scatchard, the Ivy League champion in the mile and 3000m run, will compete in the mile.
Bossong and Gorriaran both qualified for the women’s 800m run with times of 2:00.79 and 2:01.27, respectively. Their teammate, Goudros, will compete in the pentathlon after scoring 4313 points earlier this year. The Crimson’s two relay teams, the 4x400m relay and distance medley relay each punched their tickets with times of 3:30.28 and 10:47.92, respectively. Scatchard takes on the mile after clocking a time of 4:28.43 earlier this season.
On the men's side, five Ivies and one relay team will make the trip to Virginia Beach.
Tito Alofe and
Kenneth Ikeji will represent the Crimson,
Kampton Kam will represent Penn, and
Greg Foster,
Harrison Witt, and the distance medley relay team all qualified for Princeton.
Alofe and Kam will compete in the high jump after clearing the bar at 2.23m and 2.21m, respectively, earlier in the year.
Ikeji, the reigning national champion in the weight throw, aims to defend his title this season after qualifying with a mark of 23.78m.
For the Tigers, Foster will compete in the long jump (7.83m) while Witt takes part in the mile (3:52.87).
The Tigers’ distance medley relay team qualified with a time of 9:17.30.
