11 Ivies and One Relay Team Set For Indoor Track & Field Championships

PRINCETON, N.J. — 11 Ivy League student-athletes and one relay team are set for the 2026 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships this weekend, March 13-14, at the Randal Tyson Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
 
On the men’s side, seven individuals as well as the Princeton 4x400m relay team qualified for NCAAs. Two Ivies — Cornell's Pierre Attiogbe and Connor McCormick from Princeton— will participate in the one mile run. Attiogbe qualified with a time of 3:52.44 while McCormick clocked a time of 3:54.35. McCormick's teammate, Myles Hogan, will compete in the 5000m run after qualifying with a time of 13:21.57. The final track athlete to qualify for NCAAs was Penn's Joseph Socarras who will compete in the 800m.

For the field events, Harvard's Tito Alofe makes another appearance in the NCAA Championships in the high jump, coming in with a mark of 2.21m. Then, two Tigers — Greg Foster (long jump) and Joe Licata (shot put) — will travel to Arkansas. Foster is currently second in the NCAA with a mark of 8.24m in the long jump while Licata comes into the shot put with a 19.71m mark.

The Tigers' 4x400m relay team consisting of Jonathan York, Xavier Donaldson, Jackson Clarke, and Joey Gant enter the relay at 3:03.87.

For the women, four individuals punched their tickets to the NCAA Championships. Sophia Gorriaran, who set the NCAA record in the 1000m run earlier this season, will compete in the 800m, coming with a time of 2:01.30.

In the field events, two Princeton jumpers, Alexandra Kelly and Georgina Scoot, will once again compete in the NCAAs. Kelly enters the long jump at 6.50m while Scoot comes into the triple jump at 13.47m.

In the shot put, Penn freshman Jessica Oji, who broke the Ivy League record earlier in the year, enters the event with a mark of 18.50m.
