PRINCETON, N.J. – The 2025 Ivy League Heptagonal Cross Country Championships are set for Friday, Oct. 31 at Van Cortlandt Park in New York City.
This year's Ivy League Cross Country Championships prove to be competitive as multiple nationally-ranked and regionally-ranked programs enter Friday's championship. On the men's side, both Princeton (No. 19) and Harvard (No. 21) are featured in the national rankings while on the women's side, all eight programs are ranked inside the top-15 of their respective regions.
Last year, Princeton took home both the men's and women's team titles as the Tigers earned their first title on the women's side since 2015 while claiming their fourth-straight championship on the men's side.
For the women, four First Team All-Ivy (
Anna McNatt, Claire Archer, Molly Malague, Penelope Salmon) and two Second-Team All-Ivy (
Meg Madison, Linda Fonville) selections return this season in hopes for a chance at the individual title.
On the men's side, two First Team All-Ivy (
Myles Hogan, Pierre Attiogbe) selections return in addition to four Second Team All-Ivy returners (
Shane Brosnan, Connor McCormick, Sam Burgess, Jackson Shorten).
The last time that Van Cortlandt Park hosted the Ivy League Cross Country Championships, Harvard raised the trophy on the women's side while Princeton took home the title for the men. The Crimson's
Acer Iverson (men's) and
Maia Ramsden (women's) won the individual titles.
