Ivies Have Strong Showings at NCAA Regional Championships

PRINCETON, N.J. – A total of four student-athletes individually qualified for the NCAA Cross Country Championships, while the Harvard and Princeton men’s teams earned automatic bids following strong performances at both the Northeast Regional in Contoocook, N.H., and the Mid-Atlantic Regional in University Park, Pa.

The top two team finishers at each regional automatically qualify for the NCAA Championship set for Nov. 23 in Verona, Wisc., and the top four individual finishers not on a team that received an automatic qualification earn automatic individual qualification. The remainder of the field (13 teams and two individuals) will be announced during the NCAA selection show on Saturday.
