INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.- After winning the Ivy League tournament championship yesterday, the Princeton softball team is heading to the Lafayette Regional of the NCAA Division I Championship.
The Crimson will take on the host, the 13th-seeded Louisiana Lafayette Ragin' Cajuns on Friday, May 19 at 5:30 p.m. ET on ESPN+. The double elimination tournament also features Ole Miss and Baylor.
Princeton captured the Ivy League automatic bid to the NCAA Championship after winning the League’s tournament title. The Crimson also earned a share of the Ivy League title after posting a 14-7 conference record (29-15 overall). Princeton is making its 13th NCAA tournament appearance.
