Cornell Claims 2023-24 Ivy League Wrestling Title

PHILADELPHIA — With a 35-3 win over Princeton on Friday eveing and a 26-8 win over RV Penn on Saturday, No. 10 Cornell outright won the Ivy League wrestling title.
 
In his third season at the helm of the Big Red wrestling program, Mike Grey leads his team to their 43rd Ivy League wrestling title. Cornell has won 30 of 43 titles outright.
 
A mainstay in the national rankings all year, No. 10 Cornell adds the Ivy League title to an already impressive résumé after the Big Red defeated then-No. 2 Missouri and then-No. 11 Virginia Tech earlier this season. Following the wins over Princeton and Penn, Cornell ends the season with an undefeated 5-0 record in Ivy League duals.

At 149, Ethan Fernandez won a hard-fought bout, 8-7, to claim the title for the Big Red.
