Turner and Austin Claim Women's Basketball Weekly Honors

PRINCETON, N.J. — With only two weeks to go until conference play begins, multiple Ivies have recorded notable wins in the non-conference season with more opportunities to come in the final weekend. Individually, Harvard's Harmoni Turner (Player) and Dartmouth's Olivia Austin (Rookie) claimed this week's honors.
 
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Harmoni Turner, Harvard (Sr., G - Mansfield, Texas)
  • Led all scorers in Harvard's 86-26 victory over Boston with 20 points on 8-of-15 shooting.
  • The senior provided a spark in all aspects of the game while grabbing five boards, dishing out a trio of assists, and tying a season-high with six steals.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Olivia Austin, Dartmouth (Fr., F - Western Springs, Ill.)

  • Posted 37 points and 25 rebounds (12.3 points and 8.3 averages) in a 2-1 week for Dartmouth
  • Scored double figures twice, including a 15-point, 10-rebound double-double at Syracuse.
  • Added five steals, two assists and a block against the Orange
  • Tallied 10 points and eight rebounds at Central Connecticut State while recording seven points, seven rebounds and a career-high five assists at Lafayette
