PRINCETON, N.J. – Cornell’s Derek Amicon (Men’s Athlete) and Columbia’s Phoebe Anderson (Women's Athlete) took home Ivy League cross country weekly awards after strong showings on the course last weekend.
 
MEN'S ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Derek Amicon, Cornell (Sr. – Grandview Heights, Ohio)

• Broke the course record by 27 seconds on his way to winning the Harry P Anderson Invite in 24:10
• Time was a personal best on an 8k course
   

WOMEN'S ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Phoebe Anderson, Columbia (Sr. – London, England)

• Finished 4th in the women's 6k championship race at the Wisconsin Nuttycombe Invitational – one of the top meets in the nation
• Posted a time of 20:11.4
