Brown, Columbia, Penn, and Princeton Earn Wins Heading Into MLK Day Games



PRINCETON, N.J.
— Brown, Columbia, Penn, and Princeton all earned wins heading into Monday's games as stellar individual performances highlighted Saturday's games.

In the one o'clock game between Dartmouth and Penn, the Big Green led going into the second half before the Quakers outscored Dartmouth 29-13 in the second half. Jordan Obi and Stina Almqvist both recorded double-doubles for the Quakers to lead Penn to its first Ivy win of the season.

Brown used a strong first half performance to earn its second Ivy victory of the season as Kyla Jones scored 19 points and had five steals on the night. Yale scored 29 fourth-quarter points, but the comeback bid fell short as Jenna Clark recorded 17 points, nine assists, and seven rebounds. 

Coumbia defeated in-state foe Cornell, 82-53, at home as the Lions start off the conference season 2-0. Kitty Henderson nearly recorded a triple-double for Columbia with 15 points, 11 rebounds, and six assists.

Princeton left Cambridge, Mass. with a 72-49 win over Harvard behind a double-double from Ellie Mitchell. Six Tigers scored in double-figures to propel the Tigers to the win.
