PRINCETON, N.J. – After leading their teams to wins to remain undefeated on the season, Cornell’s CJ Kirst and Dartmouth’s Emmett Pardine picked up Ivy League men’s lacrosse weekly honors. Cornell and Dartmouth are two of five remaining undefeated teams in the nation.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
CJ Kirst, Cornell (Jr., A – Bernardsville, N.J.)
- Registered 16 points across two games, leading the Big Red to wins over Hobart and No. 8 Ohio State
- Had a huge 11-point performance against on seven goals and four assists against Hobart on Feb. 28. It is the most points of any NCAA Division I lacrosse player this season and is the most points for an Ivy League student-athlete since Princeton’s Michael Sowers had 14 against Colgate in 2019.
- Powered the Big Red to its first top-10 win over the season, notching four goals and one assist in Cornell’s victory over No. 8 Ohio State
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Emmett Paradine, Dartmouth (Fr., M – Hickory, N.C)
- Had a big effort in Dartmouth’s 11-8 win over Siena, posting game highs in goals (4) and points (5)
- Had a hand on three-straight goals in the fourth quarter as the Big Green out-scored the Saints, 4-2 in the final frame
