PRINCETON, N.J. – Three Ivy League teams earned berths into the 2025 NCAA Division I Men’s Lacrosse Championship, as announced during tonight’s NCAA Selection Show. Princeton captured the conference’s automatic bid by winning the Ivy League Tournament, while Cornell and Yale secured at-large selections.
The Princeton Tigers earned the No. 1 national seed and will host the winner of Marist and Stony Brook in the first round at Sherrerd Field on Sunday, May 10 at 2:30 p.m. Princeton captured the Ivy League tournament title with a 19-9 win over Cornell at Schoellkopf Field.
Cornell, the No. 7 national seed and defending NCAA champion, will host Johns Hopkins—an at-large selection from the Big Ten —on Saturday, May 9 at 5 p.m.
Yale will travel to No. 6 Syracuse for a 5 p.m. matchup against the Orange.
All three Ivy League teams enter the tournament ranked in the national polls, with Princeton at No. 2, Cornell at No. 4 and Yale at No. 9, according to Inside Lacrosse.
