Cara Shultz and Princeton’s
Valeria Nutakor earned Ivy League volleyball weekly awards.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Cara Shultz, Yale (So., OH – Glenmoore, Pa.)
- Recorded two double-doubles on her way to being named the MVP of the Syracuse tournament
- Posted 34 kills, 10 aces and 41 digs as Yale won all three games
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Valerie Nutakor, Princeton (Fr., OH – Forsyth, Ill.)
- Led Princeton in kills with 53, and kills per set with 4.42, while also tallying 27 digs and 2.25 per set, good for third on the team
- Posted a pair of double-doubles over the weekend
