PRINCETON, N.J. – After strong showings last week, Columbia’s Abby Stuart, Penn’s Bella Fiorentino and Yale’s Maddie Latta earned Ivy League weekly softball awards.
 
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Abby Stuart, Columbia (Sr., 1B – Southlake, Texas)

• Was 6-for-14 from the plate across a 2-2 week for the Lions
• Hit two home runs, scored three runs and totaled six RBIs

 
PITCHER OF THE WEEK 
Bella Fiorentino, Penn (Jr., P/INF – Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif.)

• Went the distance as she posted a complete game shutout in Penn's 3-0 series finale victory at Brown
• Surrendered just two hits and struck out five batters in the win

 
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Maddie Latta, Yale (Fr., P/OF – Jacksonville, Fla.)

• Was 7-for-19 from the plate last week for Yale
• Hit four home runs, after entering the week with just one on the season
