Kayla Thompson earned Top Drawer Soccer National Player of the Week as well as a spot on the National Team of the Week.
Thompson, who was named the
Ivy League Player of the Week on Monday, faced 12 shots and made five saves to achieve her first solo shutout of the season in a 2-0 win over Columbia to allow the Bears to continue undefeated in Ivy play. One of the five saves was stopping a PK in the 48
th that would have led to a tied game.
