PRINCETON, N.J. -- Powered by a perfectly struck 63rd-minute free kick from
Stephanie Lathrop, Dartmouth captured the 2025 Ivy League Women’s Soccer Tournament championship with a 1–0 victory over Princeton on Sunday afternoon at Myslik Field at Roberts Stadium. The triumph sends the Big Green to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2005.
Lathrop’s tally marked her ninth goal of the season and second of the tournament, earning her recognition as the tournament’s Most Outstanding Player. It was also Dartmouth’s only shot on goal of the afternoon — and it proved decisive.
Beyond the strike, goalkeeper
Ola Goebel anchored a resolute Big Green defense, recording three saves to notch her eighth shutout of the season. The junior denied Princeton’s
Alexandra Barry in both the 29th and 78th minutes, preserving Dartmouth’s slender lead.
The Big Green now awaits its NCAA Tournament assignment, with the selection show scheduled for Monday, November 10 at 4:00 p.m. ET on NCAA.com.
