PRINCETON, N.J. -- Harvard's Matthew Pereira was crowned the Ivy League Men's Heptagonal Cross Country Champion, while Princeton ran away with the men's team title.
Princeton's five scorers all finished in the top nine to help the Tigers collect 28 points. Harvard, which had three top-five finishers, came in second with 43 points. Penn rounded out the top three teams with 90 points.
Pereira shed 23.4 seconds off his personal best time, finishing in 23:18.0. Princeton's Ed Trippas (23.26.3) and Kevin Berry (23:32.0) were the next two finishers.
