PRINCETON, N.J. — The 2026 Ivy League Heptagonal Cross Country Championships are set for Saturday, October 31 at the Mark Coogan Cross Country Course at Highland Park in Attleboro, Mass. The women's race kicks off the action at 11 a.m. with the men's race directly after at 12 p.m.
This is the first time in Ivy League history that the Mark Coogan Cross Country Course has hosted the championships.
On the women’s side, Princeton’s

On the men’s side, the individual title is wide open as last year’s champion, Princeton’s
Myles Hogan, graduated. 10 of 14 All-Ivy honorees from last season return with eyes on the title. Last year’s runner-up, Harvard’s
Tam Gavenas, has had a strong 2026 season thus far with a 23:09 at the Nuttycombe Invitational.
Two nationally-ranked teams, the Harvard and Princeton men, ranked 16
th and 24
th, respectively, are frontrunners for the men’s team title. Princeton has won the last five men’s team titles as the other seven Ivies look to end the Tigers winning streak.
After scoring 27 points just a season ago, the best mark since 2009 when the Tigers scored 15 points, the Princeton women return all five of their top scorers from last year with hopes of repeating that success to take home their third-straight women’s team title.
