PHILADELPHIA – No. 5 Penn lacrosse continued its torrid pace as the Quakers defeated Dartmouth, 22-6, to finish a perfect 6-0 Ivy League season and secure the program's first outright Ivy League championship since 1986.

Penn, which secured its spot at the 2019 Ivy League Tournament last weekend, will be the No. 1 seed for the first time in the history of the postseason event.

The 10th edition of the League's tournament is set to take place on May 3 and 5 in New York City on the campus of Columbia University. A variety of ticket offerings—including all-tournament passes and single-session tickets—are on sale now at ivylg.co/LAXtickets or by calling the Columbia Ticket office at 888-LIONS-11.

11 different players scored for the Quakers, led by Adam Goldner who had five to tie the program record for goals in a season at 44. Senior Simon Mathias had three goals and four assists, while classmate Tyler Dunn had a goal and five assists. As a team, Penn won 26-of-31 faceoffs. Kyle Gallagher was 18-for-20 with 15 ground balls.

Three teams – Brown, No. 10 Cornell and Princeton – remain in the hunt for the final two spots to the tournament.
