CO-PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Madeline Raster, Harvard (Sr., G – South Bend, Ind.)
- Raster averaged 17.5 points, 10.0 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 2.0 steals while shooting 50.0 percent from the field in a pair of wins for the Crimson
- In just 24 minutes of action, she came two assists shy of a triple double with 11 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists against Brown
- She then scored a game-high 24 points, while also recording eight rebounds, three assists and two steals, to lead Harvard to a win over Yale. Raster surpassed 1,000 points for her career, the sixth Ivy to accomplish the feat this season and second Crimson, joining Katie Benzan
- Raster earns her second-career Player of the Week honor and becomes the third Crimson to receive the award this season, joining Jadyn Bush (Nov. 19) and Benzan (Dec. 31)
- Raster, who was nominated for the Harvard College Women’s League Award, is a member of the Harvard SAAC Community Service Committee. She interned for Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey, a former Crimson women’s basketball player, in the Criminal Bureau this past summer
CO-PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Princess Aghayere, Penn (Sr., F – Reston, Va.)
- Aghayere finished the weekend with 21.0 points, 8.5 rebounds, 1.0 steal and 1.0 block, while shooting 63.0 from the field and 100.0 percent from downtown
- In just 24 minutes of action, she totaled 19 points, seven rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block in the Quakers’ win over Columbia
- She then posted a double-double with a career-high 23 points, along with 10 rebounds, to lead Penn to a win over Cornell
- Aghayere receives her second career Player of the Week honor
- Aghayere was born and spent most of childhood in Nigeria. She's gone back to Africa several times since then and is a Health & Societies major at Penn, with the goal of returning to Africa after graduation
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Katie Douglas, Dartmouth (Fr., G – Mendham, N.J.)
- Coming off the bench and filling in for the injured Cy Lippold, Douglas averaged 16.5 points, 2.5 rebounds and shot 63.2 percent from the field to lead the Big Green to wins over Yale and Brown
- She scored 13 points and recorded two rebounds and one steal in the Big Green’s victory over Yale
- She then broke her career-high the next night with 20 points, along with three rebounds, as Dartmouth completed the 2-0 weekend
- Douglas is the first Big Green to be named Rookie of the Week since Kate Letkiewicz in 2014-15
- Douglas was listed as a three-star recruit with an overall grade of 87 from ESPN
