PRINCETON, N.J. -- Princeton and Brown took home the final Ivy League women’s soccer weekly awards of the 2018 season.
 
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Mimi Asom, Princeton (Sr., F – Dallas)

• Asom scored the game’s only goal in the Princeton’s 1-0 win over Penn that gave the Tigers a share of the Ivy League title and the automatic bid to the NCAA Championship
• The senior tallied her 12^th goal of the season, matching her personal-best, and sixth gamewinner, extending her career-high
• Asom earns her third Player of the Week honor of the season and sixth of her career. She is now tied for third all-time in League history with Brown’s Theresa Hirschauer (1985-88) and Penn’s Jessica Fuccello (2006-09)
• Asom took part in the Ivy League’s Authentic Ivy series and is President of the Ivy Club, the oldest eating club at Princeton

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Lauren Hinton, Brown (Fr., D – Middletown, Conn.)

• Hinton was a key factor in the Bears’ two shutouts to close out their season
• She helped Brown clean sheet Delaware State, 6-0, before playing all 90 minutes in her team’s 3-0 shutout of Yale
• Hinton is the third Bear to earn Rookie of the Week this season, joining Maesyn G’Bye (Sept. 24) and Rebecca Rosen (Oct. 8)
• Hinton’s brother Joe is a junior at Brown and part of the Bears’ Ivy League on ESPN team
• She was a two-time Connecticut Player of the Year in high school
