FINAL RESULTS

PRINCETON, N.J. -- Princeton successfully defended its Ivy League Heptagonal Men’s Cross Country Championship, winning at home on West Windsor Fields.
 
The Tigers garnered 30 points, matching the 15^th-best total in Ivy Heps history, en route to their 21^st overall title and ninth over the past 13 years. The top five Princeton runners all finished among the top-15, and the Tigers posted the widest margin of victory since 2014, when they won by 44 points.


 
Harvard finished second with 61 points, its best score since 1984 (59) and best finish since 1976 (second).
 
Dartmouth posted 67 points to finish third, its best score and finish since 2013. Penn, Columbia, Brown, Yale and Cornell rounded out the rest of the standings.
 
The first 10 runners to cross the line were all sophomores or juniors, led by Harvard junior Kieran Tuntivate, who became the first Crimson individual champion since Maksim Korolev in 2013. Princeton took four of the next five spots, with junior Conor Lundy taking second overall. Tuntivate held off Lundy to win by .8 seconds, the fifth-closest margin of victory in Ivy Heps history and slimmest since Dartmouth’s Ethan Shaw won by a scant .1 second in 2011.
