PRINCETON, N.J. – 12 Ivy League men’s lacrosse players were named to the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) All-America teams, as recently announced.
Yale junior attack Ben Reeves was the lone Ivy League representative on the first team. Reeves, Yale’s career points leader, is a two-time Tewaaraton Award Finalist attackman. The junior finished his campaign by notching six points at Syracuse in the NCAA Tournament. Reeves is a two-time All-American, was Ivy League Player of the Year while leading the Elis with 79 points in 15 games.
Brown’s seniors Dylan Molloy and Larken Kemp earned second-team All-American honors. Princeton’s Zach Currier and Yale’s Eric Scott joined Molloy and Kemp.
Molloy finishes his career with 197 career goals, a Brown record and third best in NCAA Lacrosse history, while his 318 career point at sixth in the NCAA record book and a Brown all-time record.
Brown Kemp’s 56 career points (26 goals, 30 assists) rank second nationally in all-time long pole scoring. Kemp led the Bears and ranked 15th nationally with 1.69 caused turnovers per game in 2017.
Princeton's Currier led all Division I midfielders in assists (34) and points (58) while leading the Tigers in caused turnovers with 21 and winning 114 of 202 face-offs.
Yale’s Scott registered 27 goals and 15 assists to rank second on the Bulldogs behind teammate Reeves.
Penn’s Connor Keating and Princeton’s Michael Sowers took home third team All-American honors.
Brown’s Alec Tulett, Cornell’s Jeff Teat, Harvard’s Morgan Cheek and Yale's Tyler Warner and Conor Mackie earned All-America honorable mention.
