Columbia Captures 2026 Ivy League Women’s Golf Championship

SPRINGFIELD, N.J. – Columbia claimed the 2026 Ivy League Women’s Golf Championship on Sunday at Baltusrol Golf Club, closing the tournament with the lowest team round of the day to secure the league title.
 
The Lions finished at 36-over par with a three-round total of 900, seven strokes ahead of runner-up Harvard (+43, 907), to claim their first Ivy title since 2007. Princeton (+49, 913), which led after the opening round, finished third, followed by Penn (+56, 920), Dartmouth (+70, 934) and Yale (+92, 956). Columbia carded a final-round 290, the best team score of the championship.
 
Princeton first-year Thanana Kotchasanmanee earned medalist honors, finishing at 4-over par with a three-round total of 220. Kotchasanmanee opened the championship with a 2-under 70 and followed with rounds of 77 and 73 to hold off Harvard’s Lucy Yuan, who finished second at 6-over par. Columbia’s Sarah Shao placed third at 8-over par.
 
Columbia’s Christine Chang turned in the low round of the day, firing a 3-under 69 in Sunday’s final round to finish tied for fourth at 9-over par alongside Penn’s Mi Li and Harvard’s Iris Wang. The Lions placed five players inside the top 11, with Kristina Xu tying for seventh, Camille Thai tying for ninth and Bridget Chantharath tying for 11th.
