ATLANTA — The Ivy League delivered another strong showing at the NCAA Men’s Swimming and Diving Championships, held March 25–28 at the Georgia Tech Aquatic Center, highlighted by nine All-America performances.
Princeton led the Ivy contingent with a 20th-place team finish and 45 points. Yale placed 34th with 17 points, while Harvard finished 39th with nine points.
The Tigers were powered by standout efforts from Mitchell Schott, who earned first team All-America honors in two events. He placed seventh in the 200-yard butterfly (1:40.67) and eighth in the 200-yard freestyle (1:32.01).
Princeton also received a strong showing from Patrick Dinu, who secured honorable mention All-America status in the 100-yard freestyle with an 11th-place finish (41.30). The Tigers added depth in relays, as the 800-yard freestyle relay team of Arthur Balva, Schott, Parker Lenoce and Dinu placed 10th (6:09.16), while the 400-yard freestyle relay squad of Schott, Logan Noguchi, Jake Tarara and Dinu finished 16th (2:48.13). Both relays earned honorable mention All-America recognition.
Yale’s top performances were led by Nick Finch and Noah Millard. Finch earned honorable mention All-America honors in the 100-yard butterfly, finishing ninth in 44.19. Millard posted a pair of All-America swims, placing 10th in the 500-yard freestyle (4:11.44) and 16th in the 1650-yard freestyle (14:47.47).
Harvard’s William Mulgrew added an honorable mention All-America finish with a ninth-place showing in the 1650-yard freestyle (14:40.07).
The league was represented in all 21 events at the championship, with 15 individual competitors and eight relays from seven Ivy League programs.
