Men's Swimming and Diving Championships Begin Tonight

PRINCETON, N.J. – The 2026 Ivy League Men’s Swimming and Diving Championships will be held Feb. 25–28 at Princeton’s DeNunzio Pool.

A LOOK BACK TO LAST YEAR – Last year’s championship at Brown’s Katherine Moran Coleman Aquatics Center ranked among the fastest in meet history. Ten meet records fell — seven individual and three relay — and six all-time Ivy League records were established.

RETURNING CHAMPS – Fourteen of the 16 individual event champions from last season return to defend their titles.

Princeton’s Mitchell Schott broke out with victories in the 200-yard individual medley, 200-yard butterfly and 200-yard freestyle to Claim the Phil Moriarty High Point Swimmer of the Meet with the maximum 96 points. Yale’s Noah Millard (500-yard freestyle and 1,650-yard freestyle) and Nick Finch (50-yard freestyle and 100-yard butterfly) also captured multiple event titles.

TIGHT TITLE RACE – Princeton snapped Harvard’s seven-year title streak last season, capturing its first Ivy League championship since 2017 with 1,300 points. Harvard (1,262.5) and Yale (1,212.5) also topped 1,200 points, marking the first time since 1990 that three teams finished within 100 points of each other.
