PRINCETON, N.J. – The Ivy League announced its 2026 Men’s Squash postseason award winners and All-Ivy selections, as voted by the league’s head coaches.
Penn’s Omar Hafez was named Ivy League Player of the Year, while Harvard’s Christian Capella earned Rookie of the Year honors. Penn’s coaching staff, led by head coach Gilly Lane, garnered Coaching Staff of the Year recognition after leading the Quakers through another strong Ivy campaign.
The Ivy League recognized both First Team and Second Team All-Ivy selections for the second consecutive year. All seven Ivy League teams were represented across the First and Second Teams, with nine players earning unanimous First Team honors. The Second Team was expanded due to a tie in voting.
The inaugural Ivy League Men’s and Women’s Squash Tournaments are set for this weekend at Princeton’s Racquet and Recreation Fieldhouse. More information, including how to purchase tickets, can be viewed
