PRINCETON, N.J. – As the race to the Ivy League tournament heats up, Harvard’s Jack Speidell (Offensive), Cornell’s Jack Cascadden (Co-Defensive) and Yale's Jared Paquette (Co-Defensive) took home Ivy League men’s lacrosse weekly awards.
 
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Jack Speidell, Harvard (So., A – East Setauket, N.Y.)

• In No. 11 Harvard’s win over No. 18 Dartmouth, Speidell posted a career-high six goals and seven points in the Crimson road win  

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Jack Cascadden, Cornell (Jr., FO – Garden City, N.Y.)

• Cascadden won 71-percent of his faceoffs (34-of-48) in a 2-0 week for Cornell while also winning 20 ground balls
• Also chipped in a pair of goals
• Opened the week winning 19-of-26 faceoffs with 13 ground balls in the Big Red’s 18-11 win over UAlbany
• Backed that up by claiming 15-of-22 faceoffs with seven ground balls and a goal in a 13-9 victory at Brown to clinch a spot in the Ivy League tournament

CO-DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Jared Paquette, Yale (Sr., G – West Islip, N.Y.)

• Made 13 saves for Yale in Saturday’s win over Penn for a .542 save percentage
