Ivy League women's lacrosse has impressed throughout the regular season as multiple Ivies have been nationally-ranked throughout the year and the conference ranks as the second-strongest in NCAA RPI.

Princeton enters the tournament as the number one seed, ranked fifth in the country by Inside Lacrosse, and fourth in the nation according to NCAA RPI. The Tigers boast one of the best offenses in the country, ranked 10th in the NCAA, led by Ivy League Attacker of the Year McKenzie Blake. Blake ranks among the top goal scorers in the country, scoring 66 goals this season to go along with seven assists.

Yale was the last team to clinch their spot in the Ivy League Tournament, but enter the tournament as the second seed after defeating Cornell last weekend in a win-and-in matchup. The Bulldogs come into the tournament in hopes of defending their title from last season. Yale features one of the best scoring defenses in the country, ranking fourth, and is led by Tewaaraton Award finalist Fallon Vaughn, a unanimous First Team All-Ivy selection.

Penn comes into the tournament ranked 11th in the nation in RPI, finishing the regular season with a 10-5 overall record and a 5-2 record in Ivy play. The Quakers are led by a variety of Ivy League major award winners this season in Anna Brandt (Midfielder of the Year), Natasha Gorriaran (Defender of the Year), and Orly Sedransk (Goaltender & Rookie of the Year).

Brown, making the program’s first-ever appearance in the Ivy League Tournament, enters the tournament after a 10-5 overall record while being 4-3 in Ivy play. The Bears are led by a high-powered scoring attack that ranked 19th in the country and fourth in assists per game. Annie Burton, Greta Criqui, and Codi Johnson were all named to All-Ivy teams this season.

Previewing the first semifinal showdown, Princeton bested Brown by a score of 15-13 back on April 19. On the other side of the bracket, Yale defeated Penn, 10-9, in a double overtime thriller on April 12.
