PRINCETON, N.J. — With the conclusion of the Ivy League women's tennis regular season, the Ivy League has announced the major award winners and All-Ivy Teams for the 2024-25 season.
Winning 2025 Ivy League Player of the Year was Columbia’s
Gayathri Krishnan. Krishnan split her time between first and second singles, finishing as the only undefeated singles player in the Ivy League at 5-0 and posting a 25-10 overall record on the year. She closed the season winning 15 of her last 17 matches, including her final six matches. Krishnan also played first and second doubles, going 17-12 overall and 3-1 in Ivy League matches.
Yale’s
Julia Werdiger was named the Ivy League Rookie of the Year, the Bulldogs’ first winner since 2018. She went 5-1 in league play in singles, playing both third and fourth singles, and posted a 20-9 overall record. She also posted a 10-8 record playing second doubles all season.
With an unblemished 7-0 record in Ivy League play and winning the Ivy League regular season title outright for the first time since 2006, the Harvard coaching staff, led by head coach Traci Green, was named the Ivy League Coaching Staff of the Year.
