Harvard Claims Share of Ivy League Women's Tennis Title

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — Following a 5-0 start to the Ivy League season, the Harvard Crimson toppled Yale on Sunday evening to claim at least a share of the 2025 Ivy League women's tennis regular season title.

The title is the Crimson's 20th in program history and the third for Head Coach Traci Green. With the win, the Crimson improved to 13-8 overall on the season with two matches remaining against Columbia and Cornell.

The duos of Rachel Arbitman/Angel You and Holly Fischer/Stephanie Yakoff won 6-2 and 6-3, respectively, to grab the doubles point for Harvard. 

Moving to singles, Charlotte Owensby secured a straight set win with a 6-4, 6-1 result at court three before Harvard and Yale traded wins in the next two completed matches as the Bulldogs took court four and the Crimson countered with a victory from Yakoff.

Later on, Fischer went clinched the match as the senior won the first and third sets with a pair of 6-4 decisions to solidify the title for Harvard.
