IVY MADNESS WEBSITE
PRINCETON, N.J. – Columbia clinched at least a share of the Ivy League women’s basketball title and the No. 1 Ivy Madness seed, while Princeton (No. 2) and Harvard (No. 3) also secured their tournament seeds following wins.

The No. 4 seed will come down to the final game of the season and will be claimed by either Penn (6-7) or Brown (5-8). Penn would clinch the No. 4 seed with a win over Princeton or a Brown loss to Yale next Saturday. If Brown defeats Yale and Penn falls to Princeton (meaning Penn and Brown both finish 6-8), the No. 4 seed would be determined by the NET rankings released the morning of Sunday, March 9.

COLUMBIA 77, YALE 49
It was another night to remember for the Columbia women’s basketball team as the Lions earned at least a share of the Ivy League title for the third-straight season with a dominant win over Yale. The Lions also clinched the top Ivy Madness seed with the win. In addition, less than 24 hours after classmate
Kitty Henderson recorded a triple-double,
Cecelia Collins came up with a triple-double of her own, the third in Columbia women’s basketball history, going for 16 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists, while
Riley Weiss led Columbia with 23 points on 9-of-17 shooting. The Lions aim to clinch the outright Ivy League title next Saturday against Cornell.

HARVARD 62, PENN 44
Harvard doubled up Penn, 36-18 in the second half as the Crimson locked in the No. 3 seed for Ivy Madness.
Harmoni Turner had a strong shooting night, going 10-of-22 from the floor with four three-pointers while adding 11 rebounds, three steals and two assists while

PRINCETON 67, DARTMOUTH 55
Princeton received 25 points from
Skye Belker as the Tigers secured the No. 2 Ivy Madness seed with a win over Dartmouth. The Big Green owned a one-point lead over Princeton at the halftime break, but Princeton powered through with 36 second-half points, including 21 in the fourth quarter to pull away from Dartmouth. Dartmouth will wrap up its season against Harvard next week while Princeton heads to Penn and needs a win and Columbia loss to Cornell to win a share of the Ivy League title.

BROWN 38, CORNELL 36
Brown’s
Gianna Aiello and
Grace Arnolie combined for 30 points while Aiello recorded a double-double, adding 16 rebounds to keep its Ivy tournament hopes alive. Cornell out-scored Brown in the fourth quarter, but Arnolie hit two free throws with six seconds remaining to secure the win for the Bears. Brown is set to close out the regular season next weekend with a pivotal game against Yale while Cornell will wrap up its season at Columbia.
