Cooke Voted Heavyweight Coach of the Year

PRINCETON, N.J. -- Ivy League Heavyweight Men’s Rowing All-Ivy teams and Coach of the Year honors were announced following the Eastern Association of Rowing College (EARC) Sprints on May 19.
 
Brown’s Paul Cooke was unanimously voted the Heavyweight Coach of the Year after he led the Bears to an exciting first place finish in the varsity 8 grand final. The Bears finished in 5:28.639, to narrowly best Princeton which finished in 5:28.720.
 
Additionally, one Ivy League men's heavyweight rowing student-athlete from each institution was recognized for their commitment in the classroom and on the water as members of the 2024 Ivy League Men's Heavyweight Rowing Academic All-Ivy team. Brown's 
Ian Burnett, Columbia's Milo Walshe, Cornell's Finn Lynch, Dartmouth’s Colin Glew, Harvard’s Tom Horncastle, Penn's Sam Sullivan, Princeton’s Zach Vachal and Yale’s Luca Liautaud were each named to the team.
