PRINCETON, N.J. — Following the 2024 Ivy League Women's Golf Championship, The Ivy League announced the All-Ivy teams and major award winners on Thursday afternoon.
Following a vote of the league’s six coaches, Princeton’s
Victoria Liu was named the Ivy League Player of the Year while Yale's
Joanne Lee earned Rookie of the Year honors and Dartmouth's
Alex Kirk won Coach of the Year.
Liu earns the Ivy League Player of the Year honor for the second straight season after being named the Rookie of the Year two years ago. Liu posted a two-over par 218 at the Ivy League Championship to take home medalist honors and earn the league's automatic bid to NCAA Regionals. The win marked her second of the season, having won the Princeton Invitational back in September. The junior also posted a Top-3 finish at the Tulane Classic in March.
Lee took home Rookie of the Year honors following several wins throughout the 2023-24 season. The freshman picked up her first win of the season at the Yale Invitational, and then won the Pine & Ivy match play event in March. Competing in her first Ivy League Championship last weekend, Lee finished 17th overall.
Kirk earns Coach of the Year honors after leading the Big Green to the program's first Ivy League Championship last weekend. Three Dartmouth atudent-athletes earned All-Ivy recognition as the Big Green posted a three round score of 899. On May 6-8, Dartmouth will compete in the NCAA Regionals at Spanish Trail Country Club in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Decided by placement at the conference championship, the first team consists of student-athletes who finished in the top-five of the individual standings. Liu,

Sophie Thai (Dartmouth),
Bridget Ma (Harvard), and
Mia Sessa (Yale) all earned spots on the First Team.
Second Team All-Ivy consists of student-athletes who finished 6-10 at the conference championship.

Yoko Tai (Columbia),
Isabella Gomez (Harvard),
Maggie Ni (Penn), and
Penelope Tir (Dartmouth) all earned spots on the Second Team.
Additionally, one Ivy League women's golf student-athlete from each institution was recognized for their commitment in the classroom and on the course as members of the 2023-24 Ivy League Women's Golf Academic All-Ivy team. Columbia's
