Men's Swimming & Diving All-Ivy, Postseason Awards Announced

PRINCETON, N.J. – The All-Ivy teams, Coach of the Year and individual award winners were announced following last week’s 2024 Ivy League Men’s Swimming & Diving Championships at Blodgett Pool in Boston.

Harvard head coach Kevin Tyrrell was named the Coach of the Year after a vote by the League’s head coaches. Tyrrell guided the Crimson to its seventh consecutive Ivy title.

Harvard and Princeton claimed individual honors, which were determined by points accumulated at the championships. Harvard’s Gunner Grant was the Phil Moriarty High Point Swimmer of the Meet, finishing with the maximum 96 points. Grant was also the recipient of the Harold S. Ulen Career High Point Swimmer Award, accumulating 350 throughout his career at Ivy meets. After sweeping the one and three meter diving, Princeton’s Aidan Wang was the Karl B. Michael High Point Diver of the Meet. Harvard’s Luke Foster earned the Ron Keenhold Career High Point Diver award with 166 points throughout his career.

Swimmers, divers and relay teams that finished first in an event final at the championships earned First Team All-Ivy recognition, while second-place finishers garnered Second Team All-Ivy honors.

Additionally, one Ivy League men's swimming and diving student-athlete from each institution was recognized for their commitment in the classroom and in the pool as members of the 2023-24 Ivy League Men's Swimming and Diving Academic All-Ivy team. Brown’s Andrew Berzolla, Columbia's Demirkan Demir, Cornell’s Joseph Gurski, Dartmouth’s Alexander Ye, Harvard’s Luke Foster, Penn's Ben Feldman, Princeton’s John Ehling and Yale’s Adam Zapatka were each named to the team.
