PRINCETON, N.J. — It was an eventful weekend of Ivy League men's soccer as the conference tournament picture continues to take shape. Last weekend, Cornell claimed their spot in the tournament to join Penn and Princeton leaving one more spot available. Later that day, Penn earned at least a share of the regular season title with a win over Yale. Individually, Brown's Lorenzo Amaral (Offensive) and Penn's Connor Dawson (Defensive) garnered this week's awards following strong performances on the pitch.
 
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Lorenzo Amaral, Brown (So., F - Orlando, Fla.)

• Scored three goals in a 2-0 week for Brown that included wins over Rhode Island and Columbia.
• Scored two goals in Brown's midweek 2-0 win over Rhode Island.
• Scored Brown's third goal of the game in the Bears' 3-1 win over Columbia.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Connor Dawson, Penn (So., D - O'Fallon, Ill.)

• Scored the game-winning goal in the 58th minute to lead Penn past Yale, 1-0.
• Led a backline that held the Bulldogs to only three shots on goal to help the Quakers post their eighth clean sheet of the season.
