PRINCETON, N.J. — Following a 1-0 win over Columbia on Saturday afternoon, the Princeton Tigers clinched the Ivy League women's soccer title for the 11th time in program history and earned the right to host next weekend's Ivy League Women's Soccer Tournament.
Coming into the contest needing a win to secure the title, the Tigers did just that in what was a thrilling game. Following a back and forth first half, Princeton's
Pietra Tordin scored what proved to be the game-winning goal in the 64th minute to seal the victory for the Tigers.
This marks Princeton's first regular season title since 2018 as the Tigers finish the regular season with a conference record of 6-1-0 and an overall record of 12-4-0.
