CLEVELAND – Following a stellar fall season that saw the Ivy League win a national title as well as place numerous teams in NCAA Tournament competitions, the league ranks seventh overall in the fall midseason Learfield Cup standings.
Four Ivies placed within the top-85 overall with a conference-wide average ranking of 93 as Harvard garnered the league’s highest ranking of 17.
The success validates a fall season where Ivies won an individual national title in cross country (Harvard's Graham Blanks) and saw a number of teams earn berths to NCAA Fall Championships, including four women's soccer teams hosting and winning first round matchups.
The 2023 winter season continues to see the same success as numerous Ivies from women's basketball, fencing, men's tennis, and wrestling have been ranked thus far.
Ivy League winter championships begin February 10 with the 2024 Fencing Championships.
