PRINCETON, N.J. – The Ivy League announced its 2022-23 women’s sailing all-Ivy teams and major award winners Monday afternoon.  
 
Yale’s Sarah Moeder was named the Crew of the Championship, Yale’s Mia Nicolosi was voted the Skipper of the Championship and Brown’s John Mollicone was tabbed the Coach of the Year. Nicolosi and Mollicone earned their respective honors for the second consecutive season.
 
The first team comprised of Brielle Willoughby (Brown), Savannah Young (Brown), Gabbi DelBello (Cornell), Carmen Cowles (Yale), Moeder (Yale) and Nicolosi (Yale).
 
Blaire McCarthy (Brown), Emma Ruth (Brown), Bridget Green (Cornell), Yumi Yoshiyasu (Dartmouth), Corinne Lee (Harvard), Marbella Marlo (Harvard), Juliana Ruggieri (Harvard), Carmen Berg Yale, Emma Cowles (Yale) and Helena Ware (Yale) were voted to the second team.
 
Results for the all-Ivy teams were based on performance at the ICSA Women’s Team Race National Championship in Redwood City, Calif.

Additionally, one Ivy League women's sailing student-athlete from each institution was recognized for their commitment in the classroom and on the water as members of the 2022-23 Ivy League Women's Sailing Academic All-Ivy team. Brown’s Blaire McCarthy, Cornell’s Meredith Moran, Dartmouth’s Eliza Crocker, Harvard’s Sarah Burn and Yale’s Allison Rice were each named to the team.
